Looking For My Dad
As the words to Amazing Grace filled the air, those who know
and love Jack comforted each other with the thought that the man known as
Papa Bear will come home. His 17 year-old daughter put her thoughts into a
letter to her father, telling him how much she misses him.
"You know if he gets the letter or gets to come home that I can't wait
to see him and I care about him," Angela said. Dozens of people came to the candlelight vigil at the Pit Pass on Victory Drive with hope in their hearts. They prayed that their friend is alive, and whoever is responsible just brings Jack back.
"I'm too emotional. I'm too angry. This should've never happened to my cousin. He's a good man. He'd give anyone the shirt off his back," said Charles.
"There's a lot of people, including myself who are crying on a daily basis and we need him home or need to know where he's at," said Angela
Jack's family and friends are just asking for one favor: please keep an eye out for their loved one, while they keep searching.
"And we're not going to stop looking. Somebody out there knows something. And within this tri-city area, we're going to find him with the community," said Tanya a co-worker of Jack's.
Columbus Police are investigating this case. If you have any information about Jack's disappearance, you're asked to call them or Gold Star Taxi. The family says you don't have to give your name. They just want any information about Jack's whereabouts.
